Our Group 4 Faux Textured finishes start as soon as they are removed from the mold. The soft clay is hand carved and sculpted by our skilled artisans while still in the greenware state. This stylized texturing is allowed to dry and then bisque fired. Once removed from the kiln, a multi-step paint process is started with a tricolor base coat layered by sponged-on details accenting the carvings.
